‘Badminton Asia Team Championships’ is the one of the biggest badminton event in Asia under Badminton Asia, the governing body of badminton in Asia. It is a biennial championship held in February under Badminton World Federation (BWF) International Calendar.

This edition of the Badminton Asia Team Championships promises to display the best badminton players in Asia as it serves as the Asia qualification for the Thomas & Uber Cup 2024 scheduled to be held in May 2024 in Chengdu, China. As 2024 is also an Olympic year, this tournament will serve as a ranking tournament for the participating players from the Asia countries. This provides an opportunity for world’s best players representing their respective country in this prestige championship.

SELBATC2024 HIGHLIGHTS

  • A maximum of 31 ties (Singles & Doubles / Men & Women) every day for the first 3 days (13th to 15th Feb).
  • Daily action of Malaysian team (Men’s or Women’s) every day for the first 3 days (13th to 15th Feb).
  • A Chance to come and be part of the Team Malaysia fans to support Malaysia Men’s to defend their championship title as the 2022 Champions.
  • A chance of a life time to watch the Malaysian Players – Lee Zii Jia, Aaron Chia, Soh Wooi Yik, Ng Tze Yong, Goh Sze Fei, Nur Izzuddin for the Men’s Team & Goh Jin Wei, Pearly Tan, M.Thinaah, K.Letshanaa & Siti Nurshuhaini for the Women’s team in action as one team fighting for glory for the country.
